I’m only entering a few college football tournaments on FanDuel this weekend because there are so many games taking place. Lots of good teams are playing which means it could be a crazy day for fantasy CFB points. At the same time, it opens up allot of good probabilities for players to get big points.
Quarterbacks – Players like Seth Russell cost the most at FanDuel and DraftKings, but I don’t think that’s who you should be looking to go with. Consider some cheaper quarterbacks like and have really favorable matchups and could produce some decent points! People looking for a solid cheap option might want to consider Blake Frohnapfel ($6900) as he also has a favorable matchup.
Running Backs – With so many games taking place this weekend, I’m looking for the backs who are likely to get a ton of carries. Ezekiel Elliott ($9400) could be in for another huge game against Maryland this weekend. A more affordable option for RB in daily fantasy leagues would also be Jalen Hurd ($7200) and Justin Jackson ($6300) for Northwestern. Those looking for a solid cheap option might want to consider starting Ke’aun Kinner ($6100) because he’s scored a touchdown in almost every game this weekend.
Wide Receivers – This is where the real test will come into play this weekend. There are so many wide receivers to choose from between all these games it’s tough to decide on just a few! Some guys like Corey Coleman ($8600), Roger Lewis ($8200), and Sterling Shepard ($7400) all look like good starters, but are also fairly expensive. Some of the more affordable options I like are Jakeem Grant ($6900) and Tajae Sharpe ($6800). If you’re looking for a sleeper pick or someone extremely cheap then my choice would probably be Brandon Reilly ($5500). Although keep in mind, that last player would be a little bit of a gamble!
Tight End – Most of the best options at tight end cost about the same. With that in mind, I think it’s important to spend a little extra on your tight end and think about starting Jordan Leggett ($3000) or Mark Andrews ($3000). If you must go with a cheaper tight end then consider Anthony Corsaro ($2400), although once again, you might be taking more of a gamble playing him!
Free FanDuel Week 7 CFB Lineup
The lineup below is one we recommend using on FanDuel this weekend. Feel free to try out this lineup on either DraftKings or FanDuel to see how it plays out. We believe the players within this lineup have great odds of putting up big points in Week 7. Keep in mind, this lineup does not include the Thursday and Friday night games. Players are only for Saturday games!
